Lauren Filippello, NP
Lauren Filippello, FNP-BC is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years Magnet-level nursing experience. Lauren provides high quality, compassionate, patient centered care to the community of San Diego, California.
Lauren earned her Bachelor’s in degree in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2012. From there she worked in several large academic health care systems, including Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Jefferson Hospital of Neuroscience, and Scripps Health. Through this experience, she mastered the management of patients with acute, chronic, and critical illnesses.
As a Masters Degree Graduate of California State University, Long Beach, Lauren further developed her strong academic and clinical nursing background, focusing in family practice. Her practicum included family practice and women’s health rotations, prior to earning her Nurse Practitioner license and joining The Doctor’s Office and Walk in Clinic in 2022.
Lauren has worked in various healthcare settings throughout her career with diverse patient populations across the lifespan. As a Nurse Practitioner in the community, Lauren is dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles, disease prevention, and positive patient outcomes.
